About Us — Why We Built CrowdCare
CrowdCare was created to redefine how people access healthcare. After years witnessing the frustration caused by traditional health insurance — high premiums, restricted networks, complicated rules, and unexpected costs — our founder, Lee Cerasani, believed there had to be a better way. A way that was simpler, fairer, and truly centered on people.
We built CrowdCare as a community-powered model, where members support one another through a transparent and predictable system. Instead of dealing with complex insurance structures, members pay a fixed monthly contribution and only R$250 per health event, while the community helps cover the remaining eligible expenses. It’s healthcare based on trust, not bureaucracy.
With total freedom to choose any doctor, clinic, or hospital, CrowdCare removes the barriers that prevent people from getting the care they need. Everything is managed through a modern, easy-to-use app, supported by a team that guides and advocates for members at every step.
Our mission is simple:
Bring humanity, clarity, and fairness back to healthcare — one community at a time.
CrowdCare exists because we believe healthcare should empower people, not overwhelm them. And together, we’re building a system that finally works for everyone.
